Shields of this kind are typically reserved for only the strongest and manliest among us. Those who can even lift such shields typically practice for years with many stacks of ecto before even attempting to heft one of these beasts. These are, literally, worth their weight in ecto.

+30 is extremely popular combined with -5/20 and -2 stance...

And with those boss skins, i can't agree more with Kromp: put those in sell and enjoy the bidding war.

expecially for echos, hundreds of ectos are easily achieveable. Embla too. Dunno on kappas, but will surely get a nice bunch of globes.

Kromp is right, they're popular skins, popular mods, and popular reqs (q13 str) so bidwars will be inevitable... Stack+ a piece is not excluded...

Kappa shields are pretty rare as well, mainly because very few people farm them. Echo's and Emblazoned's are not all too rare as a drop when chestrunning (I get plenty) but mods are usually shit. But at least drops are generated. When we're talking Kappa shields... Very few are generated at all..

To be honest, apart from the -5 20% +30 echovald I don't see any of those getting more than a stack of ectos unless some serious bid wars happen.

Yes kappa shields aren't generated often, but that is mainly because interest is low. but a -5 20%, +30 one may indeed get some serious attention, so this one could go very high, but I don't see that for a -2s, +30hp one.

As for the -2s +30 echo and embla. In the unlikely event that you manage to hype these up and sell them for over a stack of ectos, I'm pretty sure alot of those will pop up suddenly from people who would never have guessed they could be that valuable, and with good reason.

sun strike's prices may be on the low side, but I don't find them all that unreasonable really, certainly not low enough to claim 'he doesn't know what he's talking about', which I find rather rude either way.

Sure Echovald is a popular skin but the other two are mostly just rare. If Kappa was truely sought after people would chestrun them 24\7 but the reality hardly anyone chestruns for them at all. Not to mention that 2\3 of these skins can be gotten inscribable which means a lot of people will simply get that over the uninscribable versions.

Echovalds with perfect mods will always go high though. Especially +30 -5 (20%).

I agree with kromp on the manliness required... However... It's r13. High req is supposed to = <100k... Now... Maybe i'm living in la la land but forsrs... Quite dropping 100000's of ecto on everything and let the market settle. Those shields used to be cheap.

I have seen OS R9 Emblazoned sell for much less some of the prices listed... I would not even pay the prices Sun Strike listed... absurd to pay that much for R13 strength...

R13 Emblazoned maybe 20-30e max I would suggest paying - not worth any more than that

Kappa are much harder to find - but generally do not have that much demand - I would not pay over 30-40e

People are stupid over echos - 75-100e+ would not surprise me but it is stupid to pay that much honestly. Just let the idiots have them

Unless all shields went stupid expensive I was seeing a bunch of r13 str shields for 20-40e max for a long time. Bunch of hype and bull shit here.

I saw a ton of R10's low for a long time....

And carnage would know from experience - he sold a few high req shields and they sat on here for weeks and never got over 30e - gothic defender and one other I think....

i was actually being a bit generous about the pc's since its str not tactics, ive sold decent perfect req 13 shields which struggle really hard to get pass the 40e mark ingame.

the only way i can agree on some of these shields to really go past the 100e mark is if they are +10 vs elements and physical instead of -2 stance or -5 20% which is an average mod nowadays.

and also canthan shields aren't as rare as they use to be, you can get your hands on a perfect one anytime, the really only rare shields are the ones which are req8 and perfect. hundreds of perfect canthan shields have popped up over the past 1-2 years.

i stand by my prices if i was too actually sell them at a reserve, take 10 ectos or if more then more power to me.

Yeh, I refrained from making a price check partly because I would've done it even lower then what you set yours at. If I can pick up a Q9 Str Bladed +30 HP -3^hex for 100e (which is already quite high for that shield) I can't really see a -5 (20) of a skin that is not only less popular but also exists inscribable go higher then that. Echovalds I understand even less, I don't even like em ;p And don't have a single one except I actually have an old green with an echovald skin that I've had for like 5 years+ and never used xD

The Q8 Ornate though I'd PC at 75-100e. My +29 -2 Q8 Tac Ornate had bids as high as 100 ingame but I chose not to sell, should be pretty comparable.

From what I have seen ornate generally even has less demand than most other cathan shields, even less than kappa and emb. I only knew a handfull of ppl including myself that collects/want them. But since they don't come as ins and u r looking for q8 (or selling), my estimate would be 75e-125e range. The mod (44/-2) is imperfect and not as highly sought after as well
